Unleash your child’s imagination and bring creativity to life with our inspiring art classes, where education meets artistic expression!

Join Our Wonderful Creative Home Education Community

Home education really opens up a wonderful world for students to dive into their creativity, especially when it comes to art classes that help them grow their skills and express themselves.
Alongside general art lessons, where learners can try their hand at everything from painting and drawing to sculpture, there's the exciting option to take part in the Arts Award at silver and gold levels (11+). These awards are a fantastic way for young creatives to immerse themselves in the arts, whether through personal projects or getting involved in their local communities. They are nationally recognised level 2 and 3 awards, comparable to GCSE and A Level with the gold award holding 16 UCAS points.
Plus, we have creative writing workshops can perfectly complement the visual arts, giving students a chance to sharpen their storytelling skills and expand their vocabulary.

When you put all these experiences together, they create a lovely, well-rounded approach to learning that nurtures both artistic flair and critical thinking. It’s all about supporting each other on this creative journey!

Art Studio (General Education)

This home education art programme runs in themed 6-week blocks, designed to balance structured skill-building with creative exploration. Each block is centred around a carefully chosen theme and introduces students to the work of two different artists, giving them a broad and inspiring view of artistic styles and approaches.

Across the six weeks, students are guided through a range of techniques and materials, developing core art skills such as drawing, painting, composition, and mixed media. Some sessions are taught step-by-step to build confidence, but always leave room for individuality, allowing each child to interpret ideas in their own unique way.

The programme encourages experimentation, resilience, and creative thinking, helping students not only improve their technical ability but also grow in confidence as independent artists.

Creative Writing

The creative writing programme is delivered in themed 6-week blocks, each designed to spark imagination while building core writing skills. Every block can be taken as a standalone experience, or combined to form a complete, progressive course across the year.

Across each block, students explore different styles, genres, and writing techniques—developing skills in storytelling, character creation, descriptive language, and structure. Each theme is enriched by the introduction of a carefully selected piece of literature, giving students the opportunity to draw inspiration from established writers and explore how powerful writing is crafted.

Sessions are guided and supportive, offering clear prompts and frameworks while encouraging students to express their own ideas and voice. The programme balances skill development with creative freedom, helping young writers grow in confidence, refine their ideas, and enjoy the process of writing without pressure.

Over time, those who continue across multiple blocks build a strong foundation and a deeper understanding of their unique writing style.

Silver Arts Award (Level 2)

The Silver Arts Award is a nationally recognised Arts Award Silver, equivalent to a Level 2 qualification (comparable to a GCSE), designed for young people who want to deepen their engagement with the arts. It supports both creative development and essential life skills, making it a valuable addition to a student’s educational journey.

My Silver Arts Award Masterclass is a year long course broken down into 6x 6 week blocks which provides a structured and supportive pathway through the qualification. Students build their own artistic practice, explore the work of other artists, and experience the arts beyond the classroom through research and live events.

A key part of the award is arts leadership—students plan and deliver their own project, developing confidence, communication skills, and the ability to lead and inspire others.

Throughout the course, I break down each section of the award into clear, manageable steps, ensuring students feel confident in what they are working towards. While fully guided, the programme still allows for independence and personal choice, encouraging students to take ownership of their ideas and creative direction.

This masterclass is ideal for young people who are ready to take their creativity more seriously, gain a recognised qualification, and develop skills that support both further education and future career pathways.

Gold Arts Award (Level 3)

The Gold Arts Award is a prestigious Arts Award Gold, equivalent to a Level 3 qualification (comparable to an A Level), and carries 16 UCAS points to support progression into university, further education, and creative career pathways. It is designed for young people who are ready to take ownership of their artistic journey and work at an advanced, independent level.

My Gold Arts Award Masterclass is delivered as a year-long programme, thoughtfully structured into six 6-week blocks. This format provides both consistency and flexibility, allowing students to build momentum over time while engaging in focused, manageable stages of the qualification.

Throughout the course, students develop a personal arts practice with increasing independence, exploring their own themes, materials, and creative direction. They critically investigate artists and arts organisations, gaining a deeper understanding of the wider creative sector.

A significant element of Gold is leadership and professional practice. Students plan, manage, and deliver their own arts project, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving, and the ability to lead others. They also complete a detailed research and reflection portfolio, strengthening their analytical thinking and written communication skills.

My role is to guide and mentor throughout—breaking down each unit into clear steps, offering feedback, and ensuring students stay on track while maintaining the freedom to shape their work in a way that feels personal and meaningful.

This masterclass is ideal for committed young artists who want to gain a highly respected qualification, build a strong portfolio, and develop the confidence and independence needed for further study or a future in the creative industries.

I’m excited to share some options for you! I have prices available for both standalone six-week blocks and a lovely 5% discount if you’d like to sign up for the annual programme which can be spread across the year.

If your budding artist or writer has a passion for creativity, consider our Creative Studio package, which offers a small discount on both art and writing sessions. Plus, families with more than one creative in the mix can take advantage of our sibling discounts on these sessions! I do want to mention that, unfortunately, we can't offer discounts on the arts award programmes since I cover the admin and moderation costs imposed by Trinity College London. You’ll find the costs listed annually, but don’t worry! They can also be paid monthly or in those convenient six-week blocks.
